Tina Ju is the Managing Partner of KPCB China. She is also the managing and founding partner of TDF Capital. Tina brings 20 years of combined experience in venture capital, investment banking and operations. She joined Venture TDF in 1999 and founded TDF Capital China II LP in 2005. Her focus areas of investment include internet, media, consumer services, alternative energy and greentech.

Tina has backed some of China's most accomplished enterprises including Alibaba, Baidu, China Netcom, Focus Media, Hurray, Cgen, etc. Five successful IPO and three M&A exits have established her outstanding achievements in the VC industry and earned her Top Ten Active Venture Capitalist by Zero2IPO in 2005, China Best Venture Capitalist by Forbes China in 2005 and 2006, and Best PE Investor by China Business News in 2007.

Prior to venture capital, Tina served as the CFO/COO for PrivyLink, a portfolio company of TDF. Before that, she spent 12 years in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch and Goldman Sachs in New York and Hong Kong. She possesses significant and extensive experiences in capital market, financial restructuring, and providing strategic advisory services in a broad range of industries including consumer, transportation, internet, media and consumer finance. Tina also worked at IBM as an engineer before joining Goldman Sachs.

Tina holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from UC Berkeley.
